Proposal for Reconstruction of Chiktan Khar 

( The Razi Khar)

 The people of Shakar Chiktan expect their dream to see the reconstructed Razi Khar will come true in the upcoming days. Although it is impossible to develop the old architect of Razi Khar, the newly formed UT administration has recommended reconstructing a similar new design. The blueprint the UT government has approved and the photo circulated in the media differ from the actual old Razi Khar. The history that Razi Khar has in the past has been lost due to the government's and the people's negligence. As we know, that Razi Khar was destroyed by people and a contractor, due to which the castle's ruins are standing. It could have saved it from the devastation if the administration had acted on time. It would have a different situation in terms of the economy and development of this region. But due to this devastation, the progress of growth in the Sub-Division is at a different pace.

I think Razi Khar is the main source of income for the whole Shakar Chiktan block, in fact district kargil also. But unfortunately, the people of these villages lack that knowledge. The people do not pay much attention to this matter, which should have been thought of by the people of Chiktan earlier. Now people have become aware of what Chiktan Khar is, but unfortunately it's too late.  

My main point is that the main reason for unemployment and poverty  is the devastation of khar. Inshallah,  now the light of hope is shining and the door of income source is now open.

There are other places for tourist visits in the Chiktan block of Kargil District, like Api Rhinjamo Bhoo in Shing boota ( one side opens in Shing Boota and the other side in Yokma Kharbo, Kesar Lakpa ( The Handprint of Kesar Saga ) in front of Chiktan Khar, Kesari Dha ( Arrow Of Kessar Saga ) in Rong Shakar, Shashi Stoo in Youkma Kharbo , Skein Sbresa in Sanjak and many much other places to visit.
